From a very young age, dance has been an integral part of my life. I vividly remember twirling around my home in a pink tutu and leotard—even in the middle of a hurricane on Long Island. Recognizing my passion, my mother enrolled me in formal dance classes when I was nine years old. Outside of class, I spent countless hours choreographing routines in my basement with my childhood best friend. That passion never faded.
When my family relocated to Florida in 1994, my only request was that we move to a community with a dance studio nearby. I continued dancing throughout high school, becoming a proud member of the Oviedo Mane Attraction Dance Team. At the age of 20, I began my teaching journey by leading a middle school feeder team for Mane Attraction. It was my first real opportunity to test my abilities as a teacher and choreographer—and I was thrilled when my first competition routine earned second place at the Florida State Championship. That moment confirmed what I had always felt: dance was not just a passion, but a calling.
In 1998, I founded All-Star Dance Company. Over the course of three years, we grew from 28 dancers to over 125 across two cities in Central Florida. Although I eventually had to step away due to personal life events, my love for dance never left me. A mentor once told me I would never be truly fulfilled unless I followed my heart and returned to dance—and they were right.
In 2011, I took a leap of faith and relaunched All-Star Dance Company from the ground up. I recognize how rare it is to get a second chance at pursuing a lifelong dream, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for dance with a new generation. Today, All-Star Dance Company is proudly preparing for
