Even as a small child I have always loved dance, I remember running around my house in a pink tutu and leotard while we were in the middle of a hurricane on Long Island. My mom eventually signed me up for dance classes when I was 9 years old. When I was not in class I was always choreographing new dances in my basement with my childhood best friend. As the years went on I never stopped dancing. I found out we were moving to Florida in 1994, my one request was that my parents make sure we move where they had a dance studio. I continued dancing through out high school. I was a member of the Oviedo Mane Attraction Dance Team and started my dance teaching career at 20 years old when I took over a middle school feeder team for Mane Attraction. It was time to see exactly how well I am able to teach and choreograph. My first competition routine placed 2nd at States in Florida. It was confirmation for me that I was meant to have some type of career in dance. In 1998 I started All-Star Dance Company, it lasted for 3 years starting with 28 dancers and ending with over 125 in two different cities in Central Florida. Unfortunately life events happened and I had to stop teaching. Dance has always been a part of me and someone told me that I would never be truly happy unless I followed my heart and danced again. So in 2011 I decided it was time to start from scratch and run my company again. It is not often someone gets a second chance at their dream so I am extremely thankful I have the opportunity to pass on my love for dance to others. All-Star Dance Company is getting ready to start our 13th season and planning our 12th recital!!
